As some of you know, last week my email account was taken over by Nigerians, or at lease people trying to get money sent to Nigeria. They sent out an email as me, saying I was in trouble and needed help. A lot of people called and emailed me, making certain I was ok, and that I knew that my email address had been hijacked. I thank you all for your support, and for you amusing responses to the email sent out. I'm going to share a few of those responses with you now.

The original email sent out as me:

Hi,
I'm in a hurry writing this mail. I had a trip to Nigeria visiting the Tinapa opening ceremony. Unfortunately all my money has been stolen at the hotel where I stayed, by some armed robbers and since then I'v been without any money and I'm even owing money to the hotel here. So I have only access to my emails,my mobile phone can't work here so I didn't bother bringing it along.

Please can you lend me $2,500 so I can return back and settle the hotel bills I will return it back to you as soon as i get home.You can have it sent through Moneygram money transfer.

I have already spoken to the hotel manager, please let me hear from you so i can collect his full name and address where you can send the money tomorrow please or if possible today. I am waiting for your reply

Sorry I don�t send moneygrams anywhere. I highly doubt that the hotel staff have demanded you pay them after a fucking ARMED ROBBERY! Since most rooms are held with a credit card as collateral and the staff have no authority to detain you under the circumstances I highly doubt you cannot come home and settle this at home.

Two little additional anouncements here.

1.) Last night at 7pm ish, I won Metroid Prime: Hunters for the Nintendo DS. It's a fun game I recommend to the masses, but the last two bosses have tricks with them, that if you don't know makes them a pain in the ass, but if you do, makes them like a 2 minute fight if that.

2.) Wizard World is coming to Chicago this weekend, so if any of you out there enjoy comics and people dressed up like comic book characters, then this is the place to go. There are also a lot of independent artists/writers there. Like previous years, I shall go and wander.
